About Us

The Taste Franklin Festival is brought to you by a forward thinking group of people from Karaka Sports Park who are also involved in bringing you the bi-annual Karaka Vintage Day.  These bright sparks wanted to do something else during the “in between” years and spotted the fact that we have amazing food/drinks/produce in the wider Franklin area but no landmark event that really celebrates this and brings the region together.  And so the planning began!
